About Upper East Side

The Upper East Side is a neighborhood in the borough of Manhattan in New York.

Located between Central Park Avenue / Fifth Avenue, 59th Street, East River and 96th Street. Formerly known as the "district silk stockings", it is now one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the city of New York. The region is home to some of the most famous museums in the world. All museums located along the Fifth Avenue and overlooking at the Central Park has been named the "Museum Mile"; they include the 82nd to 105th Street. The Upper East Side has been the playground for so many movies, television shows and other media. The area includes several smaller neighborhoods, including Lenox Hill, Carnegie Hill and Yorkville.
